Ingredients:
5 Large fresh peaches, diced
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick (1/2 cup) cold butter
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine diced peaches and sugars in a bowl for 20 minutes.
- Pour peach mixture into 9 x 13-inch lightly greased (sprayed) baking pan.
- Drizzle in water.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over peaches.
- Arrange thin butter slices evenly over cake mix.
- Bake for 40 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Remove and cool a bit, serve with a scoop or two of vanilla bean ice cream.
